Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyse public access to health data, especially COVID-19 related, in the region of Urban Bangalore. This research involves analyses of publicly available digital health data, to determine accessibility, via ease in readability and actionability. The study employs a descriptive methodology which comprises of: survey, website and app analysis, keyword research, and interviews. Findings show that data readability is not a problem. Although, low timeliness of updates on applications, low communication efforts from hospitals and authorities have decreased public accessibility and actionability of health information. These findings can, in future, be used to develop a more accessible model of health information in times of a pandemic or spread of infectious disease, both online and offline.
